On Monday, March 9, at 1 p.m., the Utah Utes, featuring former Middleton High School standout Ian Lenius, secured a 14-2 victory over the Grand Canyon Antelopes in NCAA Division I baseball.
The contest was held at Smith’s Ballpark and marked the teams’ fourth matchup this season, with the series currently even.
Lenius pitched 0.2 innings, allowing one walk and earning one strikeout.
The Utes are scheduled to play next on Friday, March 13, at Smith’s Ballpark against the Arizona Wildcats.
