Indian Blanket in Bloom on July 1

Zzzzzi

Bright colored flowers break up the mono-colored brown dunes along Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge. Indian Blanket (Gaillardia pulchella) is now in bloom. Indian Blanket is a native annual plant that attracts pollinators such as bees and butterflies.
