Join the ACLU of Idaho, Add the Words, Idaho, Planned Parenthood Votes Northwest and Hawaii, the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence, Legal Voice and Beloved Bodies for a family-friendly fun run/walk/stroll to create public awareness about the harmful anti-trans legislation that is making its way through the Idaho Legislature.

Joining us is professional athlete Chris Mosier! Chris' claims to fame include the following:

First transgender athlete to represent the United States in international competition;

First transgender athlete in the ESPN Body Issue;

First transgender athlete sponsored by Nike;

First transgender athlete to qualify for the Olympic Trials in the gender they identify.

Chris has been working nonstop to help states like Idaho oppose legislation that only works to target communities that are already experiencing discrimination. Chris will be helping educate legislators in Idaho in hopes that we can stop these bills! Learn more about Chris here: https://www.thechrismosier.com/

The run/walk/stroll will begin at the Anne Frank Memorial and will end at the Idaho Capitol with a rally to stop anti-transgender legislation that would:

1) Ban transgirls from school sports (HB500)

2) Prevent trans people from listing their accurate gender on state ID forms (HB509);

3) Criminalize physicians who provide gender-affirming care to trans youth (HB465).

And for those who won't participate in the run, no worries! There will be a crew of us at the Statehouse ready to create some noise and welcome the runners/walkers/and strollers!

**We strive to create an inclusive and accessible space. To that end, we will have an area towards the front sectioned off for accessibility. We are in the process of securing an ASL interpreter. If there is anything else we can do to allow us to better interact with you, please feel free to send us a message at tanisha.newton.22@gmail.com or jenmartinez.idaho@gmail.com**
