City of Boise recently issued the following announcement.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection

April 4, 2022

Time:

12:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Location:

Meridian Republic Services
2130 W Franklin Rd

All Household Hazardous Waste mobile collection sites are open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. one day per month throughout the year. The sites are CLOSED on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Note: Do NOT leave items at a site when a collection vehicle is not present. Leaving toxic chemicals unattended at a collection site creates hazardous conditions and is a violation of Boise City Code.

The program does not accept explosives, radioactive materials, biomedical waste or tires.
