Gracie Walters’ Portland State softball team falls to Northern Colorado 8-0 in NCAA Division I matchup

On Friday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m., Gracie Walters—formerly of Ridgevue High School—saw her Portland State Vikings team drop an 8-0 decision to the Northern Colorado Bears in NCAA Division I softball action.

The matchup was held at Gordon Faber Recreation Complex and marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. Earlier at 4 p.m., the Vikings secured a 10-2 win over the Bears.

Walters pitched four innings, allowing five earned runs with three walks and one strikeout.

Portland State’s upcoming game is set for Saturday, April 18, at Gordon Faber Recreation Complex, once again facing the Bears.
