Of the 1,641 people living in New Plymouth in 2020, 47.1 percent (773) were women and 52.9 percent (868) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Treasure Valley Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 79. In the 65 and over age range, there were 118 females and 110 males.
